A WALK IN THE PARK
Active Play in Our Dog Park Setting
Drop off your dogs for a day filled with structured play sessions and open-pack walks. In spring, summer, and fall, your dog will enjoy our outdoor space, and on less-than-perfect days, they’ll have fun in our climate-controlled indoor play area.
Dogs thrive in this active environment, like a daily sports program that mixes mental and physical stimulation. We ensure a well-rounded, engaging experience for your dog.
Supervision & Safe Play Practices
Our trained staff, or handlers, are always present to supervise play and prevent injuries. Just like kids, dogs can get minor scrapes during play, but our kennel technicians ensure safety. Occasionally, dogs may need a "time-out," which is part of group play management.
Responsible Pack Management
We prioritize pack management by sorting dogs based on size, temperament, and activity level. This ensures a safe, harmonious environment where all pups can thrive.

Annie's Ruff House - Safety and
Vaccination Requirements for Your Dog
Safety Requirements for Your Dog
At Annie's, we prioritize the safety and well-being of every dog who visits. To ensure a safe environment, all dogs must wear a quick-release collar (also known as a "squeeze and release" collar) and be brought on a flat leash. We do not allow buckle collars or retractable leashes, so please remember to remove any prongs or training collars before entering. Unfortunately, our staff cannot remove prong collars for safety reasons.
Vaccination Requirements
To protect your beloved pet and others, we require the following vaccinations:
Rabies
Bordetella
Canine Influenza
DHLPP (which includes the "L" for leptospirosis)
Leptospirosis Vaccination:
It’s important to understand that the leptospirosis vaccine, while occasionally overlooked as a core vaccine, is essential. Leptospirosis is a bacteria that can be transmitted to dogs through wildlife urine, notably found in standing water, but has also been increasingly reported in dogs without direct access to such environments. This bacteria can spread to and from humans, with cases on the rise in the U.S. over the last decade.
Given our facilities' proximity to green spaces and the likelihood of standing water after rainfall—which has become more common—it's crucial to have this vaccine, which can be administered separately or included in the core DHPP vaccine. Leptospirosis is a serious disease that primarily affects liver and kidney function and can result in costly treatment, underscoring the importance of this preventative measure.
