FAQ
What is required for my dog to stay at Annie's Ruff House?Dogs must be at least 4 months old with all of their vaccinations dhlpp, Rabies, and Bordatella. We need proof of vaccinations from a licensed Veterinarian. If your dog is over 6 months old they must be spay or neutered. We must meet your dog and do a demeanor test. Also, you must fill out the Pet APPLICATION at the bottom of the page, print it and bring with you. What is the difference between daycare and boarding?Daycare is from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm and Boarding is 7:30 am - 10:00am the next morning. You only pay for one or the other not both. If your dog is staying overnight then he/she is boarding and will be charged for boarding only but will get all the fun stuff that goes on at daycare too. What should I bring for my dogs daycare or boarding stay?If your dog is coming just for the day, then we must have a current copy of the shot records. You can bring a snack for your dog if they need one at naptime. Snacks and lunches or not required and really only necessary for younger dogs that are still growing. If your dog is coming for an overnight stay, then we require shot records. Also, you need to bring enough food for them in a sealable container with their name on it. We allow (but it is not required) personal items such as bedding and toys. Keep in mind that sometimes these things are lost or damaged. All dogs need to be wearing a break away collar (collar with a plastic clasp). Harnesses are not recomended and will be removed. Metal clasps, chain collars, and pinch collars are not recommended in play situations these can cause injuries and will be removed. What time should I have my dog at DAYCare or Boarding? All dogs must be at Annie's by 9:00am. This allows us to get dogs in play groups and work with them with less interuptions. We make exceptions for boarders, if they cannot be here by 9:00 am then please let us know what time you will be here. This is an appointment like anywhere else and we will be waiting for you and your dog to arrive. So, let us know if there are changes. Can you give my dog special diet or medications?Yes, within reason we can do both with no additional charge. We cannot give injections. And we do have a refrigerator for wet food or homemade food (we do not make food/ it must be pre-made).How do I know my dog is ok while I am gone?We have webcams in our open play areas, and we post photos and videos on facebook. We will often post photos in our lobby of the activities. What will my dog be doing while at Annie's Ruff House?7:00 am Morning walk in the big yard.8:00 am Breakfast in the kennel.9:00 am -11:30 am Playing in play areas in a group.
